California Privacy Rights Summary

Happy Nation Brand Management, LLC (“Happy Nation”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your concerns about privacy.  If you are a California resident, the information on this California Privacy Rights Summary Notice (the “Summary Notice”) page applies to you. This Summary Notice explains the categories of personal information that we collect and how we use it; delivers information on certain California opt-out rights (under both the California Consumer Privacy Act, or “CCPA,” the California Privacy Rights Act, or “CPRA” and the “Shine-the-Light” law) concerning disclosures or “sales” of information to third parties; our use of cross-context behavioral advertising, and provides information on other California privacy rights.

    Online Activity (Including, for example, information regarding your interaction with websites or applications, and online advertisement engagements)

    Geolocation information. 

    Inferences (including, for example, predictive information, purchase profiles, shopping profiles and characteristics (e.g., loyalty shopper, cardholder, or online shopper). 

    Sensory Information (including, for example, audio and visual information (e.g., videos you upload with a review), electronic and other similar information.)

    Sensitive Personal Information (Including, for example, debit or credit card number)



Personal Information Uses

During the last 12 months, we may have used the personal information we collect for the following business or commercial purposes:


    Performing services, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing services, providing analytics services, providing storage or providing similar services

    Auditing related to counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing compliance

    Short-term, transient use, including, but not limited to, non-personalized advertising shown as part of your current interaction with us

    Helping to ensure security and integrity to the extent the use of your personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for these purposes

    Debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality

    Undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration

    Undertaking activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of a service or device that is owned, manufactured, manufactured for, or controlled by us, and to improve, upgrade, or enhance the service or device that is owned, manufactured, manufactured for, or controlled by us

    Providing advertising and marketing services, except for cross-context behavioral advertising (which is addressed in the “Disclosures of Personal Information” section of the Supplemental Privacy Notice for California residents, link below.)

Opting Out of “Sales” Information

We do not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary compensation. We may share your personal information by allowing certain third to collect your personal information via automated technologies on our Services for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. This kind of sharing may be considered a “sale” under the CCPA/CPRA when the personal information is exchanged for non-monetary consideration. We will not deny, charge different prices for, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services if you choose to exercise these rights.


Opting Out of Information Disclosures to Unaffiliated Third Parties

In addition to the rights mentioned above under California law, we provide you with a cost-free means to opt-out of our sharing your information with third parties with whom we do not share the same brand name, if that third party will use it for its own direct marketing purposes.
